In diesem Projekt sollen Algorithmen zum Genomvergleich entwickelt, implementiert und auf der Basis des bestehenden Werkzeugs GECKO visualisiert werden. Es soll an einer von zwei möglichen Fragestellungen gearbeitet werden:
1.) Wie kann der Begriff des Genclusters modifiziert werden, so dass auch fehlende oder zusätzliche Gene berücksichtigt werden?
2.) Wie lassen sich weitere experimentelle Daten, z. B. aus Expressionsanalysen, in den Prozess zur Bestimmung von Genclustern integrieren?
