Die Lehrveranstaltung orientiert sich im wesentlichen am Lehrplan für die Primar- und Sekundarstufe der Schulen in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Ausgehend von dem dort zugrundeliegenden Verständnis des Bewegungsfeldes "Bewegen an Geräten - Turnen" sollen die Studierenden die vielfältigen Bewegungs- und Erfahrungsmöglichkeiten dieses Sportbereichs kennenlernen sowie grundlegende turnspezifische Kenntnisse erwerben.
Inhalte der Veranstaltung sind:
Helfen und Sichern im Turnen; Normgebundenes Turnen an Geräten, Gerätebahnen und -kombinationen; Normungebundenes Turnen nach Bedeutungsgebieten und in Gerätelandschaften; Turnerische und akrobatische Partner- und Gruppengestaltungen; Schulsportwettkämpfe.
