In diesem Seminar wollen wir uns haptsächlich mit den Satiren des Horaz beschäftigen. In seinen "sermones" nimmt er den Allotag der Römer aufs Korn und belehrt seine Landsleute mit gut gemeintem Spott. Anfänge der röm. Satire (Ennius und Lucilius) und Weiterentwicklung (Iuvenal) sollen kurz betrachtet werden
