240867 Kommutative Algebra und Kombinatorik (S) (SoSe 2012)

Contents, comment

In diesem Seminar wollen wir uns mit Verbindungen zwischen kommutativer und homologischer Algebra auf der einen Seite, sowie Kombinatorik auf der anderen Seite, befassen. Wir werden uns hauptsächlich auf maßgebliche Beiträge, die von Richard Stanley in den 1970ern geleistet wurden, konzentrieren. Im Mittelpunkt stehen hierbei Zusammenhänge zwischen kombinatorischen Zählproblemen und der Theorie der Hilbertreihen graduierter Algebren.

Das Seminar wird die Vorlesung "Kommutative Algebra" (WS 2011/2012) ergänzen, vorausgesetzt werden aber nur Grundkenntnisse der Algebra.
