Im Seminar werden Positionen der Sprechakttheorie (Austin, Searle), des sozialen Handelns (Bourdieu, Goffman), der Performativität (Butler) und der Sozialphänomenologie (Merleau-Ponty, Schütz, Waldenfels) erschlossen, diskutiert und geprüft im Hinblick auf die zentrale Frage: Ist die Welt tatsächlich eine Bühne? Wenn ja: Wie entsteht sie? Spielen wir tatsächlich nur Rollen?
Dabei soll die Bedeutung der Sprache im Mittelpunkt stehen: Spiegelt Sprache Wirklichkeit oder schafft sie sie?
