In der Erziehungswissenschaft ist Humboldts Bildungstheorie eine der häufigsten Referenzpunkte für die Entwicklung der deutschsprachigen Bildungstheorie. In aktuellen Analysen wird immer wieder darauf verwiesen, wie Humboldt Bildung gefasst hat, welches sein Anliegen war oder warum gegenwärtige Trends, wie die Bolognareformen, Humboldts
Bildungsverständnis widersprechen. Im Seminar werden wir anhand der Orginaltexte Humboldts Bildungstheorie erarbeiten. Um die Theorie in ihrem historischen Entstehungskontext zu verstehen, werden wir uns
zudem mit den geschichtlichen Entwicklungen des frühen 19ten Jahrhunderts beschäftigen.
