250007 Schule und Familie (S) (WiSe 2006/2007)

Ganztagsschulen, Schulwahlen, Erziehung, Nachhilfe, Hausaufgaben ¿ Familie und Schule sind zwei für die Persönlichkeitsentwicklung von Kindern und Jugendlichen zentrale Institutionen, die in einem spannungsvollen Zusammenhang stehen. Wissen über mögliche Formen der Passung, strukturelle Probleme sowie über neue Vermittlungsansätze ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil professioneller pädagogischer Kompetenz.
Im Seminar wollen wir versuchen, diese Konstellation aus verschiedenen Perspektiven zu untersuchen und dabei normative Diskussionen, empirische Untersuchungen und pädagogische Entwürfe zu thematisieren. Im Einzelnen werden folgende Themen besprochen: Historische und interkulturelle Dimensionen, Differenztheorem, Zusammenhang von elterlicher Bildungs- und Erziehungsarbeit und Schulerfolg; Kooperationsbeziehungen zwischen Eltern und Lehrern, Familiarisierung der Schule in Reformpädagogiken.
Ein Leistungsnachweis lässt sich über die Anfertigung einer Hausarbeit erwerben; aktive Teilnehme wird über regelmäßige mündliche Partizipation und eine kurze mündliche Präsentation möglich.
