In this class we will look at the English language starting with the ModE period, picking up where I usually stop in the class History of the English language. We'll be looking at the spread of English around the world and the way in which it changed in the different varieties.

This class will by taught asynchronously using the Lernraum+. I expect my students to work on their reading and tasks during our allotted class time.

This class requires reading and self study on the students' part. You will get several worksheets that you have to complete and upload (details in the Lernraum+).
