Das Praktikum gehört zum Modul "Bakterielle Genomforschung" und ist zweigeteilt. Im ersten Teil werden im Labor Aufgaben aus dem Bereich der bakteriellen Genomforschung bearbeitet und im zweiten Teil werden kleinere Software-Module für Anwendungsprogramme auf dem Gebiet der Genomforschung programmiert. Als Leistungskontrolle sind Protokolle des experimentellen Teils und ein Kolloquium vorgesehen.
