Die Frage der Anwendung von im Studium erworbenem soziologischem Wissen und Können stellt sich im studienbegleitenden Praktikum sowie im Übergang in eine berufliche Tätigkeit als ein evidentes Problem dar. Diesem müssen sich SoziologInnen zwangsläufig stellen. Das Seminar dient der Reflexion auf dieses Problem und seine Hintergründe, fragt nach feldspezifischen Erfahrungen sowie möglichen Strategien im Umgang mit entsprechenden Problemen.
Die Veranstaltung findet in Blockform statt (Teilnahme ist unbedingt erforderlich!).
Eine der Blockveranstaltungen wird sich auf das Praktikum im Kontext des Studiums beziehen (eine Kooperation mit dem Praktikumsbüro ist geplant), die andere auf Probleme und Grenzen der An- und Verwendung soziologischen Wissens im Beruf.
