Alle Geheimcodes, unabhängig davon, wie kompliziert sie sein mögen, sind von ihrer Natur her mathematische Verfahren. Dabei spielen Arithmetik, Zahlentheorie und insbesondere Primzahlen eine besondere Rolle. Im Seminar sollen, mit Blick auf die angesprochenen Schulformen, die mathematischen Hintergründe einiger sehr einfacher Geheimchiffren transparent gemacht werden. Aufgabe der Seminarteilnehmer / Innen wird es sein, hierzu entsprechende Unterrichtskonzepte zu entwickeln und in der Schulpraxis zu erproben.
