Im Rahmen dieses interdisziplinären Seminars wollen wir uns fragen, wie das Leben auf der Erde entstanden ist. Was ist Leben? Wir möchten verstehen, was kurz nach dem Urknall vor 13,8 Milliarden Jahren los war, fischen in der Ursuppe des Lebens und forschen nach außerirdischem Leben.

Wir lesen und diskutieren aktuelle wissenschaftliche Publikationen aus den Bereichen Astrophysik, Astrochemie, Biologie und Biomathematik.

In diesem Semester wollen wir uns das Buch

An Introduction to Astrobiology
Rothery, Gilmour, Sephton (Eds.)
Cambridge University Press, 2018

vornehmen.

Interesse am Lesen einschlägiger Fachliteratur und lebhafter wissenschaftlicher Diskussion

Für Interessenten aus allen naturwissenschaftlichen Studiengängen (etwa ab 5. Semester Bachelorstudium)
