In diesem Projektseminar soll ein Softwaretool zur interaktiven Analyse
biomedizinischer Bilddaten entwickelt werden. Im Zentrum steht dabei die
Anwendung auf Bildmaterial aus der Neuropathologie, welches
mikroskoptechnisch und mittels Färbetechniken gewonnen wird. Die Bilder
stammen von Gewebenschnitten aus Tumoren, die hinsichtlich ihres
Tumortyps klassifiziert werden sollen. Falls die Teilnehmerzahl es
zulässt, ist auch noch ein Eyertracker-Experiment mit einem
Neuropathologen in Kooperation mit der Eyetracker Gruppe der AG
Neuroinformatik geplant. Aus den Versuchsergebnissen soll ein
Rückschluss auf die relevanten Merkmale in den Mikroskopbildern
versucht werden.Bei der Softwareentwicklung soll die Anwendung der Bibliotheken QT und
VTK/ITK von den StudentInnen erlernt und umgesetzt werden. Methodisch
stehen Verfahren aus den Bereichen Datamining, Mustererkennung,
Bildverarbeitung und künstliche neuronale Netze im Vordergrund.
