Einführung in die Organisationssoziologie
Organisationen sind für die moderne Gesellschaft ein charakteristischer und in fast allen sozialen Lebensbereichen erfolgreich verbreiteter Typus von Sozialsystemen. Entsprechend dieser Allgemeinheit des Phänomens Organisation und der Verschiedenheit seiner Ausprägung (Unternehmen, Verbände, Kirchen, Universitäten etc.) sind Ansätze, Fragestellungen und Methoden der Organisationsoziologie weit gespannt. Ziel des Seminars ist es, am Ende des Grundstudiums an Hand ausgewählter Theoriestücke und empirischer Befunde systematisch in diese spezielle Soziologie einzuführen. Folgende Themen werden u.a. bearbeitet:
- gesellschaftliche Evolution von Organisationen
- Strukturmerkmale und Funktionsweisen von formalen Organisationen
- Organisationen und ihre Mitglieder
- Organisationsumwelten und gesell. Institutionen
- Organisationswandel und Organisationsnetzwerke
