In dieser Veranstaltung wird der Text von Hegels Grundlinien der Philosophie des Rechts von 1821 zugrundegelegt, aus dem ausgewählte Abschnitte behandelt werden sollen. Die Grundlinien enthalten eine Theorie der bürgerlichen Gesellschaft und des Staates. Diese Theorie wird der Hauptgegenstand des Seminars sein.
Für eine Leistungsbescheinigung (im BA-Studiengang) werden eine abschließende mündliche Prüfung oder zwei Kurzessays erwartet, für einen Leistungsnachweis (im Magister- oder Lehramts-Studiengang) eine Hausarbeit.

Die Bereitschaft zur Anfertigung eines Referates, das den gedanklichen Aufbau und die sachlichen Schwierigkeiten eines bestimmten Abschnitts vorstellt, wird von allen Teilnehmern erwartet.
