Das Seminar ist für Studenten des höheren Semesters sowie Diplomanden und Doktoranden gedacht und dient als Übung für Kurzvorträge in englischer Sprache bei gleichzeitiger Abhandlung interessanter neuer Veröffentlichungen und Reviews auf dem Gebiet der Pflanzen-, Algen- und Cyanobakterien-Biochemie. Es soll damit Studenten und Studentinnen sowie Nachwuchswissenschaftlern an der Fakultät eine Übungsmöglichkeit geboten werden mit dem Ziel, ihnen mehr Sicherheit im Umgang mit Vorträgen und Diskussionsbeiträgen in englischer Sprache zu geben, eine für internationale Tagungen und Kongresse in Wissenschaft und Industrie wichtige Voraussetzung.
