Bevor die Reformperspektive der gymnasialen Oberstufe in den Blick genommen werden kann, müssen Ziele und Strukturen des Lernens in der Sek. II herausgearbeitet werden. Dazu gehört sowohl ein Blick in die Geschichte der Oberstufe und ihrer Entwicklung als auch eine Beschreibung und Analyse ihres Auftrags und ihrer Aufgaben. Um nur einige Fragen herauszugreifen: Was heißt wissenschaftspropädeutische Ausbildung? Welchen Beitrag leistet die Oberstufe zu persönlicher Entfaltung und sozialer Verantwortlichkeit? In welchem Verhältnis stehen fachliches und überfachliches Lernen?
Die Weiterentwicklungen und Alternativen werden dann an konkreten Beispielen verdeutlicht. Hier liegen die individuellen Beteiligungsmöglichkeiten der SeminarteilnehmerInnen.
