"In diesem Seminar beschäftigen wir uns in einem ersten Teil mit aktuellen Herausforderungen für den Grundrechtsschutz im Verfassungsstaat. Dabei geht es zum einen um neue Anforderungen an den Schutz des öffentlichen und des privaten Raumes bzw. der Privatsphäre, zum anderen um die Frage, wer im Verfassungsstaat ein „Recht auf Rechte“ (H. Arendt) hat. Können auch Tiere oder Roboter Rechte haben? Und wie sieht es mit der juristischen Verantwortungsübernahme durch intelligente Techniksysteme aus? In einem zweiten Teil wenden wir uns der transnationalen Geltung von Grundrechten bzw. der völkerrechtlichen Bindung an Menschenrechte zu (Geltung der Grundrechte bei Auslandseinsätzen der Bundeswehr, Menschenrechtsschutz im Hinblick auf transnationale Unternehmen etc.)."
Das Seminar wird als Blockveranstaltung vom 30.11.-2.12.2017 in Raum H1-116 stattfinden.

Von allen Teilnehmern wird erwartet, dass sie einen Vortrag von max. 25-30 Minuten halten und sich auch an den Diskussionen beteiligen.
Vorkenntnisse im Bereich Rechtsphilosophie / Völkerrecht erforderlich.
