Die Ringvorlesung wird einen allgemeinverständlichen Einblick in aktuelle Forschungsthemen der Arbeitsgruppe Neuroinformatik geben und dabei laufende Projekte und Arbeiten vorstellen. Die Vorlesung wird sich dabei in den Themenbereichen Navigation in Bilddatenbanken, Verfahren zur Analyse von Mikroskopiebildern, Datamining in Textdatenbanken, Perzeptive Gruppierung, Erkennung von menschlichen Handposturen, Architekturen für intelligente Robotersysteme, künstliche Aufmerksamkeitssteuerung, Eye-Tracking, Lernen mit Dynamik, Eigenschaften oszillierender und chaotischer Netze, Visualisierung und "Hörbarmachung" (Sonifikation) von hochdimensionalen Daten, physikbasierte Simulation von Roboterhänden, Objekterkennung bewegen (weitere oder andere Themen können von den Veranstaltern ggf. kurzfristig ausgewählt werden). Die einzelnen Veranstaltungen sind thematisch in sich abgeschlossen und können auch einzeln besucht werden.

Spezielle Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich. Diese Veranstaltung ist sowohl für das Grundstudium als auch für das Hauptstudium geeignet!
