Kirchen sind mehr als historische Monumente und Relikte aus früheren Zeiten. Kirchenbauten spiegeln das Glaubens- und Weltverständnis ganzer Epochen wider und laden ein, in den Kirchenraum zu gehen und dort Religion zu erfahren.
Die Kirchenpädagogik hat das Ziel, durch ein ganzheitliches Entdecken Steine und Kunstwerke zum Sprechen zu bringen.
Im Seminar sollen praktische Möglichkeiten und Zugänge aufgezeigt werden, mit Schüler(innen) aus der Schule heraus zu gehen und den Lernort Kirche zu erkunden.
Neben der Erarbeitung von Grundkenntnissen und der Anwendung kreativ-künstlerischer Methoden sind die Teilnehmer der Veranstaltung eintgeladen, exemplarische Kirchen in Bielefeld zu erkunden und Eindrücke und Erschließungsmöglichkeiten darzulegen.
Das Seminar findet als Blockveranstaltung im Pfarrheim Auferstehung Christi in Bielefeld-Senne an einem Freitag und Samstag (ohne Übernachtung) 2003 statt.
Ein Vorbereitungstreffen ist für Mitte November geplant (s. Aushang)
