In der Veranstaltung werden Übungsaufgaben zur Vorlesung "Optimierungsmethoden in der Informatik" besprochen. Lernziel ist die Gewinnung eines Verständnisses der Eigenschaften ausgewählter numerischer Verfahren anhand von exemplarischen, teilweise am Rechner zu bearbeitenden Beispielanwendungen. Dazu soll ausgewählte Standardsoftware vorgestellt und durch Anwendung entsprechender Routinen kennengelernt werden. Für die Bearbeitung der Aufgaben ist die Kenntnis der Programmiersprache C oder C++ erforderlich.
