Beginnend mit den Wirbeltieren wird die histologische Organisation ausgewählter Vertreter der großen Tiergruppen erarbeitet. Parallel dazu werden lebende Organismen untersucht, um einen Einblick in das Zusammenspiel zwischen Struktur und Funktion zu gewinnen. Eine Präparation von Tieren ist nicht vorgesehen. Die Teilnahme an der Vorlesung "Allgemeine Zoologie/Histologie" wird dringend empfohlen. Leistungskontrolle erfolgt durch Klausur und Zeichenprotokolle.
