Das Seminar dient der Vorbereitung auf das im Rahmen des Bachelor-Studienganges obligatorische Praktikum, das entweder an einer Institution des In- oder Auslands, an der DaF/DaZ unterrichtet wird und/oder die im Bereich der Kulturmittlung tätig sind, oder innerhalb eines dreiwöchigen Intensivkurses (20 Unterrichtsstunden pro Woche) für internationale Studienbewerberinnen und -bewerber vor Beginn des WS 2019/20 an der Universität Bielefeld absolviert werden kann.
Schwerpunkte der Veranstaltung sind u.a. Merkmale guten Unterrichts, Mitschau und Analyse von DaF-Unterricht (Unterrichtsprotokoll und Unterrichtsanalyse), Vorbereitung von Unterricht anhand von Lehrwerklektionen (Unterrichtsplanung), die Analyse und Entwicklung eigener Unterrichtsmaterialien (z.B. Material für die Kulturmittlung) für verschiedene Zielgruppen sowie aktuelle Arbeitsfelder der Kulturpolitik und Sprachmittlung im In- und Ausland.
