Die Christologie des Neuen Testaments läßt sich an den christologischen Hoheitstiteln, ihrer Geschichte und ihrem Bedeutungswandel sehr gut aufzeigen. Im Seminar wollen wir nach dem alttestamentlich-jüdischen Sinn der messianischen Titel zurückfragen, untersuchen, ob und in welchem Sinn Jesus selbst auf sie Anspruch erhob, und entdecken, welch neue Bedeutung diese Hoheitstitel im Kontext der christlichen Verkündigung erhielten. Zentrale Texte aus der Brief- und Evangelienliteratur des Neuen Testamentes aber auch wichtige messianische Texte des Alten Testamentes werden ausgelegt. Der Anspruch Jesu und seine Bedeutung für die christliche Kirche kommen in den Blick.
