In diesem Block sollen Charakteristika tropischer Pflanzenfamilien sowie deren systematische Stellung im Pflanzenreich vermittelt werden. An Beispielen wird die Bestimmung von Pflanzen tropischer Herkünfte geübt. Als Hilfsmittel wird Software "Visual Plants" eingesetzt werden. [empfohlen für D-Umw]

Der Blockkurs ist ein Vertiefungsblock, der eine der folgenden Veranstaltungen als Voraussetzung hat: SB Morphologie ausgewählter Kormophyten; V, Ü Spezielle Botanik; Ü Formenkenntnis und Ökologie ausgewählter Pflanzenfamilien.
