Dieses Seminar bietet eine Einführung in die empirische Forschung zur öffentlichen Verwaltung. Zum einen werden im Seminar wissenschaftliche Arbeiten diskutiert, die sich mit der empirischen Untersuchung öffentlicher Verwaltungen befassen. Zum anderen werden Studierende im Rahmen des Seminars eigene kleine empirische Untersuchungen planen und durchführen. Gemeinsam erarbeiten wir, wo und wie diese Datenerhebungen stattfinden und wie die Daten anschließend analysiert werden können. Außerdem werden die Herausforderungen der empirischen Verwaltungsforschung im Seminar beleuchtet.

Hinweis:

Montags von 12-14 Uhr findet der Lektürekurs „Verwaltung (in) der Gesellschaft“ statt. Es wird dringend empfohlen, beide Seminare zu besuchen, da sie sich ergänzen und in Kombination zu einem umfassenden Verständnis der öffentlichen Verwaltung beitragen.
