Dieser Kurs stellt eine Reihe wesentlicher Grundbegriffe der Flucht- und Migrationsfor-schung vor und diskutiert diese anhand von aktuellen Forschungsbeiträgen. Ziel ist es bestimmte rechtlich-politische und diskursive Zuschreibungen sowie ethnisierende und homo-genisierende Kategorien zu hinterfragen. Neben einer sozialwissenschaftlichen Einführung in Flucht- und Migrationsprozesse aus globaler Perspektive stehen gesellschaftliche Ausei-nandersetzungen und Verhandlungen über definitorische Deutungshoheiten im Zentrum des Kurses, der sich vor allem an StudienbeginnerInnen richtet.

• Regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme
• Anfertigung von Exzerpten zu den Pflichttexten (mind. 8 Sitzungen)
• Mündliches Referat oder Video (Einzel- oder Gruppenbeitrag), max. 10 min, und Erarbeitung von Diskussionsfragen
• Mündliche Prüfung (15 min am Ende des Semesters)
