261007 Religion nach der Aufklärung (S) (SoSe 2009)

Die Aufklärung hat die Wahrheit der religiösen Lehren bezweifelt und die Macht der religiösen Institutionen attackiert, und sie hatte damit weitgehend Erfolg. Religion ist darum aber nicht untergegangen, und so war die Frage nun, welches andere Bedürfnis Religion erfüllt oder zu erfüllen scheint. Unter der Perspektive dieser Frage soll das Seminar die religionsphilosophische Diskussion der letzten 200 Jahre in ausgewählten Texten gegenwärtig machen, etwa in Schriften von Schleiermacher, Kierkegaard, Marx, Nietzsche, Max Weber und Habermas. Dabei ist das Ziel, die Stelle zu bestimmen, die Religion in der modernen, also wissenschaftlich geprägten Welt einnimmt oder einnehmen sollte.
Grundlage für die Vergabe von Leistungspunkten (im BA- oder MA of Education-Studiengang) ist die regelmäßige aktive Teilnahme sowie zwei schriftliche Diskussionsbeiträge im Lauf des Semesters zum jeweils behandelten Thema.
