Der Kurs soll einen Überblick über das gesamte Gebiet der praktischen Philosophie vermitteln. Er stellt die zentralen Felder in diesem Gebiet, vor allem Handlungstheorie, Moralphilosophie, politische Philosophie, Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie mit ihren Grundfragen vor Augen und diskutiert beispielhaft einzelne Texte aus diesen Feldern. Dabei kommen sowohl klassische als auch zeitgenössische Autoren zu Wort.
Anforderungen für den Erwerb einer Leistungsbescheinigung bzw. eines Leistungsnachweises:
Eine Leistungsbescheinigung (BA-Studiengang) wird ausgestellt für regelmäßige Teilnahme am Kurs und drei kurze schriftliche Arbeiten, die im Laufe des Semesters zu verfassen sind. Aufgabestellungen werden wöchentlich ausgeteilt.
