230476 Nicht-kanonische Kongruenz (S) (WiSe 2021/2022)

Dieses Seminar findet *hybrid* statt, das heißt in Präsenz auf der Universität mit einem Onlinestream über Zoom. Ändert sich die Pandemielage, werde ich das Format anpassen.

Neben üblicher, weitverbreiteter Subjektkongruenz gibt es in vielen Sprachen weniger kanonische Kongruenzphänomene, darunter Kongruenz über Satzgrenzen hinaus (engl. long-distance agreement), Kongruenz mit Komplementierern (engl. complementiser agreement) und sogenannte „Agreement attraction“. Bei letzerem kongruiert das Verb mit einem Nomen, das nicht sein Subjekt ist, wie im Englischen „The keys to the cabinet is here“ statt „... are here“. Complementiser agreement findet man in so unterschiedlichen Sprachen wie Nez Perce (Nordamerika) und Varietäten des Deutschen (oberösterreichisch I frog mi, ob-st du kumm-st. ‘Ich frage mich, ob du kommst.’). In diesem Kurs wird behandelt, wie diese Phänomene in die Grammatik eingebettet sind, und was für weitere Faktoren sie beeinflussen.
