Erfolgreiche Klassenführung basiert nicht nur auf den Einsatz bestimmter Techniken, sondern ist zugleich auf die pädagogische Überzeugungsfähigkeit und -damit einhergehend - die psychosoziale Kompetenz von Lehrerinnen und Lehrern angewiesen. Professionelles pädagogisches Lehrerhandeln, seine Bedeutung für das Klassen- bzw. Unterrichtsklima sowie das Lernverhalten von Schülerinnen und Schülern sollen deshalb u.a. auch anhand von empirischen Ergebnissen aus der Unterrichtsforschung im Verlauf des Seminars erarbeitet werden.
