Dieses Projektmodul soll den Studierenden einen praxis-orientierten Einblick in den Arbeitsbereich der Angewandten Bioinformatik geben. Dazu wird aus dem Gebiet der Genom- und Postgenomforschung eine Programmieraufgabe gestellt, die in der vorgegebenen Zeit gelöst werden kann und an aktuelle Forschungsprojekte angelehnt ist. Der thematische Schwerpunkt wird vom Teilnehmer selbst bestimmt. Ein zugeordneter Betreuer überwacht die einzelnen Schritte und leistet bei auftretenden Schwierigkeiten Hilfestellung. Ziel dieses Praktikums ist es, die TeilnehmerInnen an eine selbstständige Forschungsarbeit heranzuführen, so wie sie später bei Masterarbeiten zu leisten ist.
