Ein Viertel aller SuS der 4. Klasse können nicht richtig lesen und schreiben – dieser Befund hält sich seit Jahren sehr stabil. Im Seminar werden die (kognitions-)psychologische Entwicklung schriftsprachlicher Kompetenzen und die Besonderheiten von SuS mit Schwierigkeiten im Lesen (und Schreiben) anhand von Fallbeispielen in den Blick genommen. Ausgehend von diagnostischen Kriterien werden Förderansätze auf der Wort-, Satz- und Textebene, speziell im Bereich der Grundschule, vorgestellt und vergleichend diskutiert. Auch Verfahrensabläufe zum Umgang mit jenen Schwierigkeiten in der Schule und die Rolle psychologischer Einflussfaktoren auf die Lesekompetenz (z.B. Motivation, Selbstkonzept) sollen erarbeitet werden.
