381046 Klingendes Holz II - wir bauen Skrabalai (S) (SoSe 2008)

Skrabalai, so heißt das litauische Holzglockenspiel, welches einst aus
einfachen Brauchtumsinstrumenten hevorging. Heute ist es das
auffälligste, und auch das lauteste Instrument in vielen litauischen
Folkloregruppen. Leider sind diese exotischen Instrumente hierzulande
und selbst im Heimatland gar nicht leicht zu bekommen. Wir wollen
gemeinsam das nötige Know-How erarbeiten um gut klingende und gut
gestimmte Holzglocken herzustellen. Erwähnt werden soll auch, dass
sich hartnäckig Gerüchte halten, Skarbalai fänden nicht nur für
musikalische Zwecke sondern auch für ungewöhnliche Sexualpraktiken
Verwendung.
