Das Seminar widmet sich der Erforschung jugendlicher Perspektiven auf das Aufwachsen in von gesellschaftlichen Polykrisen geprägten städtischen und ländlichen Räumen. Dazu wird im Seminarkontext schwerpunktmäßige die partizipative Forschungsmethode Photovoice in Kombination mit Audiobeiträgen eingesetzt. Im Fokus stehen die Dimensionen sozialer und politischer Teilhabe, Nachhaltigkeit und mentale Gesundheit, wobei Studierende nach einer fundierten Methodenschulung eigenständig Erhebungen in Peergroups durchführen. Ziel ist es, die (eigenen) subjektiven Wahrnehmungen und Handlungsräume Studierender in ihren Lebenswelten zu analysieren und zu dokumentieren. Die Veranstaltung ermöglicht somit eine intensive Auseinandersetzung mit partizipativen Methoden und deren Anwendung in interdisziplinären Lehr- und Forschungskontexten. Die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse werden im Rahmen des DFH-Festivals 2025 in einem interaktiven Informationsparcours vorgestellt und mit Festivalteilnehmenden diskutiert. Das Seminar findet in Kooperation mit der Fakultät für Erziehungswissenschaft (Dr. Paulo Pinheiro) statt.
