Das Training richtet sich an TeilnehmerInnen des Brother-Sister-Programms, also MentorInnen UND Mentees, deren BEIDER Teilnahme uns sehr wichtig ist: Schließlich beschäftigt man sich mit interkultureller Kommunikation am besten in interkulturellen Situationen.
Die Veranstaltung findet in Form eines zweitägigen Blockseminars am Ende der ersten Vorlesungswoche statt. Als Einstieg möchten wir mit Euch grundlegende Vorstellungen zu den Konzepten ‚Kultur’ und ‚Interkulturalität’ untereinander austauschen. Darauf aufbauend werden wir gemeinsam mit Euch bisherige Erfahrungen aus interkulturellen Situationen reflektieren, eigene Grenzen austesten und Selbstverständlichkeiten hinterfragen. Dabei soll jeder für sich die Chance bekommen, eigene Erkenntnisse, die für die weitere Mentor-Mentee-Beziehung hilfreich sein könnten, zu gewinnen.
