Die Veranstaltung befasst sich mit unterschiedlichen Kontexten der Sozialisation, die für das Aufwachsen im Kindes- und Jugendalter zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten unterschiedlich bedeutsam sind. Dabei zielt das Seminar darauf ab, die Gesamtheit signifikanter Kontexte der Sozialisation zu überblicken, die sozialisatorische Funktion einzelner Kontexte kennenzulernen und zu diskutieren sowie für die wechselseitigen Wirkkräfte unterschiedlicher Kontexte, in denen das Aufwachsen im Kindes- und Jugendalter eingebettet ist, zu sensibilisieren. Die Bearbeitung erfolgt textbasiert und auf Literaturgrundlage. Sie setzt ein entsprechendes Maß an Lesebereitschaft voraus und rekurriert weitgehend auf ausgewählte Beiträge aus den folgenden Werken: (a) Einführung in die Sozialisationstheorie: das Modell der produktiven Realitätsverarbeitung (Hrsg. Bauer, U. & Hurrelmann, K.; Belz Juventa, 2021); (b) Handbuch Kindheits- und Jugendforschung (Hrsg. Krüger, H.-H., Grunert, C.& Ludwig, K.; Springer VS, 2022).
