In diesem Modul werden aktuelle Methoden der funktionellen Genomanalyse und der Untersuchung posttranskriptioneller Regulation vermittelt. Dies beinhaltet: Untersuchung von genetisch veränderten Pflanzen; Untersuchung von Genexpression und Mutanten auf verschiedenen Ebenen, z.B. Transaktivierungsassays, RNA-Isolierung und RT-PCR, Nachweis von microRNAs, Nachweis spezifischer Proteine mittels Immunoblots, Auswertung von High Throughput Transkriptom-Datensätzen; Analyse der intrazellulären Lokalisation von Proteinen in vivo. Zugangsvoraussetzung: Erfolgreiche Teilnahme am Aufbaumodul Genetik/Physiologie/Zellbiologie, Praktikum Genomforschung II oder vergleichbare Laborerfahrung
Das Modul wird in Kooperation zwischen dem Lehrstuhl für Genetik und Genomik der Pflanzen und dem Lehrstuhl für RNA Biologie und Molekulare Physiologie durchgeführt.
