Erster Teil:

Den Studierenden werden exemplarisch \"altersbedingte\", (neuro)-degenerative und chronisch entzündliche/demyelinisierende Veränderungen synoptisch vorgestellt. Dabei werden die grundsätzlichen, bildmorphologischen Kriterien und Unterschiede dieser Krankheitsformen besprochen. Veränderungen des Liquorsystems werden dabei erwähnt.

Zweiter Teil:

Die Studierenden werden in die bildmorphologischen Charakteristika von tumorösen Raumforderungen des Cerebrums und Myelons sowie deren Häute und des umgebenden Skelettes eingeführt. Dabei wird die Unterteilung von intra- und extraaxialen Raumforderungen ebenso wie die Gliederung in hirneigene und nicht-hirneigene Raumforderungen am Bild verdeutlicht.

Wichtige Infektionen des ZNS und infektiöse Ausbreitungswege werden zu dem vorgestellt.
