Das Seminar beschäftigt sich mit frühkindlichen Theorien und ihre pädagogische Bedeutung. Verschiedene Konzepte der frühkindlichen Entwicklung werden kennengelernt und im Hinblick auf ihre pädagogische Beratungsrelevanz geprüft.

Die Wiederentdeckung des Konzeptes von Emmi Pikler nimmt dabei eine zentrale Rolle ein, es wird vorgestellt und die Lóczy-Forschung in den pädagogischen Blick genommen. Abschließend soll geklärt werden welche pädagogische Haltung und welches pädagogische Handeln daraus abgeleitet werden kann.
