Mündigkeit und Emanzipation können als zentrale Anliegen pädagogischer Praxis verstanden werden. Anliegen des Seminars ist es, Bildungstheorien hinsichtlich ihrer Bedeutung für zu befragen. Im Fokus stehen Theorien, dabei die Verflechtungen individueller Bildungsprozesse mit hegemonialen Diskursen in den Blick nehmen.

Nach einer historischen und begrifflichen Hinführung sollen Studierende ausgewählte Ansätze (kritische Theorie, kritische Bildungstheorie nach Heydorn, cultural studies, postkoloniale Perpsektiven) in Kleingruppen vertiefend bearbeiten. Die Ergebnisse dieser Arbeitsphase sollen auf einem wissenschaftlichen Poster dokumentiert werden. Im Zuge der Präsentation sollen mögliche Widersprüche und Ambivalenzen der unterschiedlichen Ansätze herausgearbeitet werden. Abschließend werden wir diskutieren, welche Potenziale die theoretischen Ansätze für pädagogisches Handeln besitzen.

Die Studienleistung kann durch die Mitarbeit an einer Gruppenarbeit, in welcher ein wissenschaftliches Poster erstellt wird, erbracht werden.
Die Prüfungsleistung kann im Rahmen einer Hausarbeit oder einer mündlichen Püfung erbracht werden.
