Das Seminar vermittelt einen Überblick über die Wissenschaftssprache Deutsch und eine intensive Auseinandersetzung mit der sog. "Alltäglichen Wissenschaftssprache" Deutsch.
Charakteristika der Wissenschaftssprache Deutsch (Lexik, Syntax, Text) und die durch Studierende vertretenen einzelnen wissenschaftlichen Fachsprachen werden im Seminar im ersten Teil behandelt. Einen zweiten Schwerpunkt bildet die alltägliche Wissenschaftssprache, die Studierende rezeptiv wie auch produktiv beherrschen müssen.

Aktive Mitarbeit: Zweimalige Kurzpräsentation (max. 10’) mit Thesenpapier und Moderation der Gesamtgruppe; Bearbeitung von kurzen Hausaufgaben (z.B. Verfassen kurzer Subtexte: Exposé, Zitateinbettung, Formulierungsvarianten) im zweiten Teil; kontinuierliches Führen eines Wortschatz-Heftes.
