250066 Sekundäranalyse mit (Massen-)Daten (S) (WiSe 2005/2006)

Meistens werden in der Forschungspraxis selbst durchgeführte standardisierte Befragungen als Datengrundlage verwendet. Mittlerweile werden immer mehr Daten von institutionalisierten Dauerbeobachtungen in der (vor allem soziologischen) Forschung verwendet: Dies sind insbesondere das sozio-oekonomische Panel (Soep), die allgemeine Bevölkerungsumfrage (ALLBUS) und neuerdings auch verstärkt der Mikrozensus. Der Umgang mit diesen Massendatensätzen wird in der Veranstaltung vermittelt.
