Im Seminar erfolgt eine Auseinandersetzung mit der Hilfsschulentwicklung in der NS-Zeit und mit der Fachschaft Sonderschulen, deren Gründung von Hilfsschullehrern betrieben wird. In den Blick genommen werden führende Vertreter der Fachschaft Sonderschule aus dem Bereich der Hilfsschul- und Erziehungsschwierigenpädagogik und ihre in der NS-Zeit erschienen Schriften. Mit dem Seminar kann ein Selbststudium verbunden werden.
