Die NS-Zeit erweist sich für die Entwicklung der Hilfsschule und mit ihr des Sonderschulsystems als sehr bedeutsam. Im Seminar werden die rassenhygienische Begründung der Hilfsschule, rechtliche Vorgaben, die ihre Entwicklung entscheidend beeinflusst haben, und die Rolle, die die Hilfsschullehrerschaft im Zusammenhang von Zwangssterilisation und ?Euthanasie? gespielt hat, beleuchtet.
