In diesem Seminar beschäftigen wir uns mit den grammatischen Besonderheiten der Eigennamen im Deutschen. Zunächst werden wir die zentralen Merkmale von Namen und die Namenklassen (Personennamen, Familiennamen, Spitznamen und andere) kennenlernen. Danach widmen wir uns der Frage, inwieweit Namen im Hinblick auf ihr grammatisches Verhalten von den anderen Wortarten abweichen und inwiefern sie als eine besondere Wortart des Deutschen betrachtet werden können.

Requirements for participation, required level

Grundlagenkenntnisse in der Phonologie, Morphologie, Syntax und Semantik sind empfehlenswert, Kenntnisse im Bereich der Namenforschung sind nicht notwendig.
