Basierend auf entwicklungspsychologischen und sozialisationstheoretischen Kenntnissen werden in diesem Seminar die Grundlagen zum Verständnis kindlicher und jugendlicher Entwicklung, besonders unter dem Aspekt des Selbstwertes und Selbstbildes erarbeitet.
In einer sich verändernden Gesellschaft, in der für immer mehr Kinder und Jugendliche die Perspektive für eine selbstständige und erfolgreiche Lebensführung durch Arbeit genommen wird, müssenauch Institutionen wie Kindergarten und Schule auf diese Veränderungen reagieren.
Auch die Bedingungen, unter denen Kinder aufwachsen müssen, verändern sich angesichts der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung für immer mehr Familien sehr deutlich. Die produktive Teilhabe an der Gesellschaft ist und wird für immer mehr Familien nicht oder schwer möglich.
Besonders auf den gen. Hintergründen werden fördernde und protektive Faktoren in der kindlichen Entwicklung aufgezeigt und mit Hilfe von Beispielen aus der aktuellen Praxis diskutiert.
