Die drei Lehrveranstaltungen des Moduls zu "Phonetik, Phonologie und Orthografie", "Morphologie und Syntax" sowie "Semantik und Pragmatik" bauen inhaltlich auf der "Einführung in die germanistische Linguistik" auf. Es werden grundlegende Konzepte, Theorien und Analyseverfahren der jeweils behandelten Teilgebiete vermittelt, vertieft behandelt und auf überwiegend deutsches Sprachmaterial exemplarisch angewendet. Die Einbeziehung historischer, variations- und psycholinguistischer Aspekte in allen drei Veranstaltungen soll die Vermittlung einer empirisch-wissenschaftlichen Sprachauffassung unterstützen.
Die Inhalte des Moduls werden in einer zentralen Klausur abgefragt.
