Bei den ISoS Lectures handelt es sich um eine regelmäßig stattfindende Vortragsreihe am „Institute for Studies of Science“ (ISoS), die der interdisziplinären Reflexion über Wissenschaft gewidmet ist. Ziel der ISoS Lectures ist es, Wissenschaftler*innen verschiedener Bereiche und Disziplinen zusammenzubringen, die an der Erforschung interdisziplinärer und integrativer Perspektiven auf die Wissenschaft interessiert sind. Im Rahmen der ISoS Lectures werden sowohl Nachwuchswissenschaftler*innen als auch erfahrene Wissenschaftler*innen, darunter lokale und internationale Referent*innen, eingeladen, ihre Forschung vorzustellen und aktuelle Fragen der Wissenschaft, Technik und Medizin sowie ihre Praktiken, Institutionen und gesellschaftlichen Bedingungen zu diskutieren. Die Teilnahme ist in der Regel sowohl persönlich als auch über Zoom möglich.

The ISoS Lectures are a regularly held lecture series at the “Institute for Studies of Science” (ISoS), dedicated to interdisciplinary reflection on science. The aim of the ISoS Lectures is to bring together researchers from various fields and disciplines who are interested in exploring interdisciplinary and integrative perspectives on science. The lecture series features both early-career and established researchers, including local and international speakers, who are invited to present their research and discuss current issues in science, technology, and medicine, as well as their practices, institutions, and societal contexts. Participation is generally possible both in person and via Zoom.
