Die außerschulische Jugendbildung ist ein eigenständiges pädagogisches Berufsfeld für angehende Erziehungswissenschaftlerinnen und Erziehungswissenschaftler. Sie ist durch eine ausgewiesene Professionalisierung charakterisiert und gehört zum Bereich der non-formalen Bildung.
Im ersten Block sollen die bildungstheoretischen, empirischen, didaktischen und rechtlichen Grundlagen vermittelt werden. Der erste Block findet in der Universität Bielefeld statt.
Im zweiten Block werden die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer ausgewählte Methoden der außerschulischen Jugendbildung praxisorientiert kennen lernen. Der zweite Block findet in der Jugendbildungsstätte Salvador-Allende-Haus in Oer-Erkenschwick statt. Das Salvador-Allende-Haus liegt in der Nähe von Recklinghausen und befindet sich in der Gültigkeitszone des NRW-Tickets. Die Anreise muss selbstorganisiert werden.
Für Unterkunft und Verpflegung wird ein Teilnahmebeitrag von 29 € erhoben.
